You will take one photo of each of the prompts: Symmetry, Texture, and Leading Lines or Vectors

Texture -

I shot this image through my windshield as we drove through the downtown lights. I was interested in the way that glass creates and manipulates texture, particularly when it has a little water on it. The rain here and it's residue make for some nice texture I think and I feel pretty good about how this image turned out. The depth of field is very shallow, perhaps too much. My worry is that the water doesn't quite read creating an image that is too ambiguous.

Leading Lines -

I really did NOT want to use brick for symmetry, but thought that maybe taking advantage of it's thick lines would make an interesting image. I composed this image based on the relationship of the lines to the subject. Despite her face being perhaps a bit too under exposed I like the way that the lines push the eye directly to her and keep your attention. It would have been nicer had I kept my focus on the lines pointing at her eyes. A missed opportunity, especially with so many chances to accidentally line up her eyes.

Symmetry -

For symmetry, I was impressed by the uniformity of these diamonds and the lights surrounding them. As I was pulling focus to the subject it was by happy accident that the blur came out so smooth. I was attracted to the way that the feels though out of focus. I don't worry so much about the ambiguity of the subject because all of the shapes are pulled together. I am happy with the result here far more than the same shot in focus.
