When I took this photograph I wasn't sure that the lack of focus would work. I was initially struck by the way that the sunlight warms the sky and seems to tell a story about this place. You feel the end of the day in this image I believe because if its hazy, quiet, machinery. I think in that way, it does evoke a sense of wonder and an opportunity to reflect.

As I was walking through this space I was struck by its size and light. My hope was to capture that feeling of greatness with one photo. I think it is successful in cultivating interest with it's lines and similarities to a space-dome, though there's too much of the boring floor in the foreground.

In this image I was trying to create interest in the viewer immediately using a unique perspective. The way that the ceiling reflects the subject outside is much like how water creates reflections. I think that interest comes rather naturally here, which is what I would want for the film this image would start.

I really like the first photo--they all seem like you put a lot of thought into the composition and look very aesthetically pleasing. They definitely caught my attention.
I really love the contrast of color saturation in the last photo and how the grass outside is so vibrant compared to the dull whiteness of the ceiling and light.
